This is not a decorative map with pins scattered where the designer thought they'd look good. Every dot on this back print came out of the Rule the Sand database: approved, verified, US, Florida, with latitude and longitude on file.

Which is why it looks like this

Look at where the clusters land. Tampa Bay. Orlando. The stretch from Miami up through Delray. If you'd guessed where Florida volleyball happens, you'd have drawn a ring around the coastline and called it done.

You'd have been wrong. A lot of Florida volleyball is inland, at community parks and county rec complexes, forty minutes from the nearest ocean. The map tells the truth about that because the map is made of data, not assumptions.

The design

Coast traced from the real outline. Pins in coral, sized to read from across a court but not so heavy they turn the state into a rash. Compass rose at lower left with true north in coral. State name in Bevan across the bottom, sand line underneath.

Front carries a small compass rose at the left chest. The state goes on the back, twelve inches wide, because a map wants room and because the best shirts make you turn around.

Care

Cold wash, inside out, hang dry. Keep it out of the dryer and the back print stays sharp.
